Kingston is located 40 minutes drive from Queenstown on SH6 at the southern tip of Lake Wakatipu. It is a further 90 minutes to Invercargill - or Te Anau, the gateway to Milford Sound. We have a permanent population of about 200, which swells to more than 1,000 over public holidays as those with weekend or holiday homes return to enjoy the delights of our idyllic location.
